Photographs from the scene on Monday morning show a large police cordon surrounding the damaged property. The front door was smashed through, and windows were boarded up. Cleveland Police confirmed that the house was unoccupied at the time, but neighbouring homes were evacuated due to the extent of the damage.

Officers are now appealing for information and urging residents with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing, and officers are asking anyone with information or relevant footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference 041679.”

As of Monday morning, one police car remained at the scene. Authorities have not yet released further details about the vehicle involved.
