Officers investigating a report of criminal damage have released images of a man they would like to identify.
At around 11am on Saturday, February 22, police received a report of criminal damage at the Galleries Shopping centre in Washington.
It was reported that a man approached a car that was parked in a car park at the shopping centre. He proceeded to climb onto the car, running across the length of the car, causing damage to the vehicle as a result.
Enquiries have been ongoing since the report was first made, and today (Wednesday) as part of the investigation, officers have released images of a man they would like to speak to.
He was believed to be in the area at the time of the incident and may have information that could assist the investigation.
The man, or anyone who knows him, should send a direct message to Northumbria Police on social media or use the live chat or report form functions on the Force’s website.
