Officers appeal for help to locate wanted man

Officers searching for a wanted man are appealing to the public to help locate him.

Kenneth Joicey, 44, is wanted in connection with an assault.

Extensive searches to locate him are ongoing across the region.

Joicey has strong links to the Gateshead area, in particular Felling, Leam Lane, Wrekenton and the Springwell Estate.

Officers from Northumbria Police are today (Wednesday) asking for the public’s help to trace him – and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Members of the public are also reminded that harbouring a wanted person is an offence and those involved could face prosecution.

Joicey, or anyone who believes they have seen him, should send Northumbria Police a direct message on social media or use the live chat function and report forms on the Force’s website.
