Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate a missing woman.

Alisha Webster, who is 20 and from the Wallsend area of North Tyneside, was last seen in the Battle Hill area shortly after 12.30pm today (Sunday).

Police and Alisha’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

Alisha is described as white, 5ft 3in tall of slim build with light brown hair which she is believed to be wearing in a ponytail.

She is believed to be wearing light-coloured jogging bottoms and a beige hoody which has the Essentials logo on it.

Alisha, or anyone who knows where she might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the Force’s website.

For those who are unable to contact the Force via those ways, call 101.
