If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience in Cleveland, Jolsha Indian Restaurant in Marton should be at the top of your list. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a memorable evening.
Our visit began with a warm welcome from Kona, whose friendliness and attentiveness immediately made us feel at home. While we took our time perusing the menu, we were treated to complimentary popadoms and dips—a delightful start to the evening.
We visited Jolsha on a Sunday, one of the two days (alongside Wednesday) when the restaurant offers an incredible deal: a four-course meal for under £17. This value-for-money offer provides an opportunity to indulge in their delicious cuisine without breaking the bank.
For my meal, I chose Onion Bhajis as a starter, followed by a Lamb Korma paired with Special Fried Rice and Peshwari Naan. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, highlighting the authentic and vibrant Indian flavors Jolsha is known for.
Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was buzzing with diners—a testament to its popularity, especially as the festive season draws near. Jolsha is a fantastic choice for a work Christmas party or any celebration.
During the evening, I had the pleasure of speaking with Rahat, the son of the restaurant’s owner, who shared insights about their commitment to quality. “All our food is freshly prepared and cooked to order,” he explained, a philosophy evident in every bite.
The atmosphere at Jolsha is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for everything from casual nights out to special occasions. The team—including Rahat, Rishi, Kona, and Zohev—deserves a special mention for their exceptional service, which added to the overall experience.
If you haven’t been to Jolsha yet, I highly recommend it. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or new to its delights, this restaurant offers something for everyone. One thing is certain: I’ll be back!
